The eighth edition of Oeiras EcoRally- Portugal, will be completely different from the previous ones. We decided to make a small tribute to the Spanish competitors with whom we share a vast border. For this reason, we will start the 2025 edition, right on the Spain/Portugal border and then cross the entire country along hitherto unknown roads.
We will have a real “transportugal”, which will take us from Termas de Monfortinho in the municipality of Idanha-a Nova, to Oeiras, on a route close to that of the Tagus River, the largest river in Portugal, which is given to us, just there on the start, by our Spanish neighbours, and which ends its journey in Oeiras where it is awaited by the Atlantic.
The Municipality of Oeiras, which gives its name to Eco Rally, understood this change, thus seeing its name spread across our territory. We will once again count with the partnership and the energy of PRIO, a loyal partner from the outset. We will have the return of BYRD, a pioneering company in the commercialization of BEVs in Portugal and we will bring new partners such as the Municipalities of Idanha a Nova and Vila Velha de Ródão, and also MOMSTEEL who will welcome us during this journey, showing their vocation in this world of decarbonization of our energy.
At the end, the traditional street stage awaits us on Santo Amaro de Oeiras beach, next to the PRIO facilities, to end in a festive atmosphere with the podium ceremony
We will do our best so that in the end you will want to come back.
